Job description

We are seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee industrial construction projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will coordinate all phases of construction, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Your expertise in construction management software, project scheduling, and site coordination will drive project success while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.

Duties

  • Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Develop detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project or similar project management tools to optimize workflow and resource allocation.
  • Oversee daily construction site activities, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, building codes, and contract specifications.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate seamless communication and project progression.
  • Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure clarity and accuracy before project commencement.
  • Utilize construction estimating techniques to prepare accurate cost projections and manage budgets effectively.
  • Manage procurement processes using construction management software such as ProCore or Bluebeam for document control and communication.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality standards, and safety compliance; address issues proactively.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on project status, risks, and milestones for stakeholders.

Experience

  • Proven experience managing industrial construction projects with a strong track record of successful delivery.

  • Proficiency in industry-standard construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, & Sharepoint.
  • Familiarity with construction estimating methods for accurate cost forecasting.

  • Strong understanding of construction management principles including project coordination, scheduling techniques, and resource planning.
  • Ability to read technical drawings accurately and interpret schematics for effective onsite implementation.
