Job description

Sharkey's Cuts for Kids is hiring a for happy and energetic Part-Time Stylist to join our growing team! Were on a mission to WOW our clients from the minute they arrive. Smiles and a positive attitude are a must, and we treat all our team members like family!
This position is for Girl/Women and services ONLY. Recent Cosmetology Graduates are PERFECT for this position, as you will NOT be required to do any barbering, boy or men's haircuts. The majority of the services you will be completing will be 40 minute Girl's Haircut Service which includes a shampoo, haircut and style.

Qualifications:
  • Must have active cosmetology or barber license
  • Friday/Saturday Availability
  • Ability to work with kids 0-14
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced atmosphere
Availability:
  • Fridays 3pm-7pm
  • Saturdays 8am - 6pm
  • Sunday Preferred but not mandatory
  • Occasional 1-2 Weekdays: 3-6pm
  • 10-15 hours per week
  • Occasional pop-up events at local school festivals
We are flexible for the right candidate! If you can only work Saturday/Sunday mornings, we'd still love to connect with you! Our weekend hours are Saturday 10am-5pm and Sunday 10am-5pm.
Hair Stylist Responsibilities:
  • Provide an exceptional client experience for kids and families
  • Listen and communicate clearly with clients to deliver the highest level of service
  • Educate clients on retail products that are best suited for their needs
  • Maintain cleanliness of the salon
