Description:
Shakopee Public Schools is searching for a Physical Education (PE) / Health Teacher (0.85 FTE + the opportunity to be a 0.15 Building Sub) to join the fantastic team at West Middle School to teach Health for the 2026-2027 school year.
Job Summary:
Provides instruction in content area in accordance with each student's ability and creates a classroom environment that fosters student learning and personal growth. Establishes effective working relationships with students and parents, while working collaboratively with other staff members.
Qualifications:
  • Current MN teaching license in Health and Physical Education.
  • Experience with multiple instructional designs and differentiated instruction.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to build successful relationships with students, parents and staff.
