Opportunity:
Advanced Practice - Physician Assistant - Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery
Job Details:
• Assist in CABG and open heart surgeries with comprehensive surgical support
• Perform valve repair and replacement procedures
• Conduct EVH/vein harvesting with demonstrated independent ability
• Handle SFA exposure and sternotomy closure procedures
• Provide critical care management in cardiovascular ICU setting
• Manage pre-operative and post-operative patient care
• Operate and manage Impella devices
• Perform endoscopic radial artery harvesting
• Execute chest tube placement procedures
• Perform arterial and venous sheath placement
• Conduct central venous line placement
• Handle approximately 10 patient encounters per shift
• Must be licensed in Tennessee only
• Board certification required with ACLS certification
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days
• Lodging available at Courtyard at 5959 Park Ave
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
