Job description

Campus Dietitian

Are you passionate about helping others perform at their best through nutrition and wellness? Do you want to join a supportive, values-driven team that focuses on people, community, and meaningful impact? At Parkhurst Dining, a brand of Eat'n Park Hospitality Group, we've been creating smiles since 1949 - one guest, one meal, and one team member at a time. Now we're searching for a Campus Dietitian to join our team supporting the Virginia Military Institute campus community.

Eat'n Park Hospitality Group represents a diverse family of brands that span 14 states across more than 150 locations and nearly 10,000 team members. We are a family-owned and operated company with deep roots that inspire our future. Our enduring commitment to our Core Values and our shared purpose, "to Create a Smile," guide and fuel our growth as a group and as individuals.

As a key member of the management team, the Campus Dietitian supports the health and performance of VMI's Corps of Cadets through individualized nutrition counseling, group education, and campus wellness programming. This role partners closely with dining services, athletics, and health services to deliver impactful, student-centered nutrition initiatives that promote lifelong wellness and optimal performance.

Why You'll Love This Role

As a Campus Dietitian, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student health and performance while collaborating with a passionate campus community.

Create A Smile: Provide individualized nutrition counseling that supports cadet wellness, performance, and long-term health.

Join A Caring Team: Partner with dining services, athletics, and campus health professionals to build a culture of wellness and support.

Bring Your Energy: Lead group nutrition education sessions, wellness events, and campus engagement initiatives.

Connect With Heart: Build strong relationships with cadets, coaches, and campus partners while delivering student-focused nutrition guidance.

Reach Your Goals: Grow your professional expertise in sports nutrition, wellness programming, and campus collaboration.

What You'll Do

Wellness & Counseling

  • Provide one-on-one nutrition assessments and counseling for cadets
  • Develop personalized nutrition plans addressing goals such as weight management, chronic disease, allergies, and performance optimization
  • Track progress and provide ongoing support to help cadets achieve their health and wellness goals
  • Lead group nutrition education sessions for student organizations, athletic teams, and campus wellness programs

Athletic Nutrition Support

  • Collaborate with athletics staff and coaches to support cadet athletes
  • Provide guidance on performance fueling, hydration strategies, recovery nutrition, and competition preparation
  • Align nutrition recommendations with training schedules and athletic performance goals

Dining Services & Program Support

  • Partner with dining services to support allergen management, dietary accommodations, and nutrition transparency
  • Collaborate with culinary and operations teams to enhance menus based on nutrition standards and cadet feedback
  • Deliver training for dining staff, including allergen awareness programs
  • Organize and support campus wellness events and nutrition engagement opportunities

What Makes You A Great Fit

We're searching for team members who welcome new challenges and care deeply about people. Every team member across the company plays a role in bringing our Core Values to life every day. In addition to aligning with our values, you'll be successful here with these skills and qualifications:

  • Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential required
  • Strong interest or experience in sports nutrition preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a student-first mindset
  • Ability to work collaboratively while also being self-directed and motivated
  • Strong planning, organizational, and time-management skills

Our Commitment To You

We believe our team members deserve the same hospitality we give our guests. Wherever you are on your journey, we offer rewards and resources to highlight the important moments, both at work and at home.

Schedule: Full-time position with flexibility to support campus events and programming

Health and Well-Being: Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), and Paid Time Off

Career Growth: Access to Smile Universe training and internal promotion pathways

Welcoming and Fun: Free meals during shift, monthly family meal, and 20% discount at all ENPHG brands
