As part of our community health clinic, you will be equipped with the necessary tools and technology to perform your duties effectively, including virtual therapy software and client management systems that ensure secure and compliant record-keeping. • Conduct individual therapy sessions remotely with clients using secure video conferencing platforms, tailoring each session to meet their unique needs and goals.
• Perform comprehensive assessments to understand clients' mental health statuses, histories, and personal circumstances while developing personalized treatment plans that align with best practices.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to help clients address issues like anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and coping strategies.
• Offer ongoing support and practical coping strategies, addressing immediate mental health concerns and long-term wellness simultaneously.
• Maintain accurate and secure electronic health records (EHR) of all client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals including psychologists, social workers, and medical practitioners to coordinate comprehensive care that enhances client outcomes.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development through training, supervision, and staying updated with the latest research in mental health and therapy.

As a therapist at Guiding Light Therapy, you will engage with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, adults, and families from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Your role will involve addressing a spectrum of mental health issues, from mild stress and anxiety to more severe psychological disorders. • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid license as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.
• A minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in a mental health setting, working directly with children, adolescents, and adults.

• Demonstrated experience providing remote therapeutic services and familiarity with virtual counseling platforms.
• Knowledge in child and adolescent development, co-occurring disorders, and effective crisis intervention strategies.
• Experience working with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds and an understanding of cultural competence in therapy.
• Optional certifications in specialized areas such as DBT, CCTP, sexual offender treatment, military and trauma therapy, or related licenses are highly valued.

• Annual salary range of $80,000 to $122,000, contingent upon your experience and caseload.
