Description
Assist survivors of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault and stalking to obtain injunctions for protection, among other legal remedies, against their abusers to enable them to safely move on with their lives.
About Us: The Legal Services Division is a team of dedicated attorneys who represent survivors of domestic violence for free and without regard for ability to pay.
The Legal Services Division Staff Attorney will spend each day working directly with survivors including representing the survivors in Domestic Violence Court. It is a paperless and efficient practice to allow the attorney to focus on serving survivors without getting bogged down in paperwork. The salary is very competitive for similar type employment along with generous benefits and PTO policy.
The ideal candidate will have family law and/or dependency law experience but it is not required. Spanish fluency in reading and writing is also an asset but not required. A Florida Bar license and a desire to make a powerful impact on the lives of abused women, men and children is required.
