About Us: 
The team at King of Covers, 3333 Group LLC, is growing, and we are looking for a skilled mechanic to join our growing team! We are a manufacturer of Industrial Tarps for the trucking industry.  We are looking to fill a position for a Mechanic Installer 1 whose job consists of installing tarping systems such as electric, hydraulic, and manual as well as detailed fabrication. We offer room for advancement within our rapidly growing company 
Requirements: 
·        Mechanic experience is a must 
·        Basic welding and fabrication knowledge is a plus 
·        Personal tools 
·        Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with ease 
·        Ability to arrive to shop on time and prepared 
·        Math, reading, measuring and writing skills 
·        Strong work ethic 
·        Knowledge in hand tools 
·        Excellent communication 
·        Ability to follow instructions, detail-oriented, strong attention to detail 
·        Must be comfortable on 2nd and sometimes 3rd floor ladders and lifts 
·        Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as a team 
·        Leadership and management skills 
·        Basic construction knowledge 
·        Positive attitude, works well with others 
·        Transportation 
 
Responsibilities Include: 
·        Installing tarping systems such as hydraulic, electric and manual systems 
·        Measure and mark areas for installation 
·        Cut and assemble materials according to specifications 
·        Install tarps and hardware using power tools 
·        Ensure all safety protocols are followed 
·        Maintain a clean and organized work area 
·        Cleaning the job site after completion 
·        Proper use and maintenance of installation tools, company vehicles, and storage areas 
·        Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the installation/repair process 
·        Efficiently and timely completion of all work 
·        General support for Kaplan Tarps and Cargo Controls, The King of Covers and DS Sewing as needed 
 
Job Type: Hourly 
Pay range: $22.00-$30.00 per hour based on experience and skills 
Work Location: In person-Vernon, CT.
