MINIMUM 6 MONTHS EXPERIENCE IN MACHINE OPERATING IN A MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT


Connect Staffing is seeking qualified Machine Operator / General Labor candidates for a vinyl sign and graphic manufacturer in the city of Placentia, CA.


Schedule:Monday- Friday 2 PM- 10:30 PM Must be flexible and have weekend availability


Requirements of aMachine Operator / General Labor:

  • 6 months of recent machine operator experience or general labor experience in a manufacturing environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must pass a background check and drug test
  • Ability to safely lift 50lbs+
  • Must have steel-toe boots
  • Able to tolerate strong smells created by the industrial process
  • Ability to comply with grooming standards, including no facial hair
  • Prior experience in roles such as Signage Production Operator, Digital Print Technician, Vinyl Cutter Operator, Production Worker, Assembly Technician or Machine Operator is a plus!

Responsibilities of aMachine Operator / General Labor:

  • Operate casting machines to produce vinyl films according to production schedules and specifications
  • Clean and set up wet-end equipment (coating head, pump, and filters) as needed and monitor and make process/equipment
  • Identify coating defects and take corrective action to eliminate the defect
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
  • Set up mixers, pump, tote, hose, liner, and adhesive according to work order requirements
  • Handling Hazardous Waste and procedures
  • Be mindful of sensitivity to odors in the surrounding environment
