AZ Quality Services is seeking a qualified and flexible team player to work full-time as a Quality Liaison/Industrial Sewer in a seat assembly plant in Warren, MI.


CANDIDATES MUST SEW BY HAND AND USING AN INDUSTRIAL SEWING MACHINE! Please DO NOT apply if you are not a qualified sewer!


Available Shifts:

3rd Shift - Sunday through Thursday, 10:15 pm to 6:15 pm depending on production. Some Fridays and Saturdays are required.


Compensation:

Starting pay is $20 - $23 per hour based on work history and experience.


Job Description/Responsibilities:
Communication between supplier and customer
Represent supplier plant regarding all issues related to quality
Participate in regular conference calls, customer supplier meetings, MQR's etc.
Routinely review all defective or rejected parts
Establish issue "Root Cause" and determine party responsibility
Report quality related issues in "Daily Non- Conforming Report" including detailed data, illustrative photos as well as charts and graphs using Microsoft Excel
Conduct daily Containment Activities based on current issues and customer concerns
Rework all parts able to be repaired for supplier and customer
Report daily work hours on "Hour Log" as part of the "Daily NC Report"
Take initiative to help solve potential customer complaints before detected or requested


Experience & Skill Requirements:
Must sew by hand AND industrial machine
Extremely reliable/responsible/proactive
Proficient at Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Not required, bilingual (written and spoken) English/Spanish a plus!
