Job description

Punahou School provides current students with a range of employment opportunities. Working at Punahou while attending school allows students to gain valuable skills and job experience that can enhance the academic learning process and give students the opportunity to serve and learn in a values-based, mission-oriented setting. The ideal candidate should be alert, punctual and detail-oriented. Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Ensure students are safely escorted to/from theatre classes to carline, bathrooms, and campus buildings.
  • Assist the theatre instructors in preparing classrooms, technical equipment, and/or running theatre activities during classes.
  • Demonstrating acting exercises, games, and techniques with a positive and supportive attitude.
  • For sewing classes: assisting students with hand-sewing and simple sewing machine skills practice.

  • Work Year: 9 Months
  • School Year: 2026-20207
  • Work Hours: Scheduling is based on individual student schedules and availability.
  • Hourly Rate: $16.00/Hour

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Current Punahou School student in good standing.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good work ethic, ability to take and follow instructions.
  • Use of good judgment, ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Ability to balance school commitments, play and extracurricular activities with work responsibilities.
