Fresh out of CDL school and ready to start earning? American Driver runs a structured, paid training program built specifically for new Class A drivers. No simulators, no classrooms—just real freight, real mentorship, and a guaranteed pay path from your first week behind the wheel.

Pay Structure and Progression

We protect your paycheck while you gain experience. Here is exactly what you will earn:

  • During Training (Weeks 1–6): $650 / week (Flat rate while driving with a mentor).

How the Training Works

For 4 to 6 weeks, you will be paired with an experienced trainer who rides with you on actual regional routes. Your trainer tracks your progress and signs off as soon as you are ready to run solo.
