Mankind Medical Center is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Family Practice Physician Assistant to join our onsite team in Centreville, Virginia. Our practice comprises ten dedicated medical providers who work together using state-of-the-art resources, including the EPIC EMR documentation system, to ensure the optimization of patient health and well-being.

This position is based within a hospital setting, where you will collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. The full-time schedule operates Monday through Friday, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while delivering quality healthcare services. • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and obtain detailed medical histories to facilitate accurate diagnoses and create individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care that respects the needs and nuances of patients of all ages.
• Perform physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and apply findings to develop effective treatment strategies.
• Administer vaccinations and medications, while actively educating patients on preventive healthcare practices and lifestyle modifications.
• Monitor and manage chronic conditions, collaborating with specialists as needed to coordinate optimal patient care.
• Ensure precise and timely documentation in the EPIC EMR system to maintain continuity and quality of care during patient encounters.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and staying abreast of the latest medical advancements.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care, fostering strong relationships with patients and their families for improved patient engagement.
• Adhere to ethical, legal, and confidentiality standards while delivering healthcare services.

The Family Practice Physician Assistant will serve a diverse patient population, providing care across all age groups, from infants to the elderly. • Must be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• A valid PA certification and state license are required upon applying.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Physician Assistant in a family practice or similar environment.

• Master's Degree in Physician Assistant studies is highly desirable.
• Experience in utilizing the EPIC EMR system for accurate documentation and patient management.
• Pediatric and geriatric care experience is preferred to support our diverse patient base.

This position offers a competitive annual salary range of $140,000 to $180,000, commensurate with experience.
