Position Overview

EventRent is seeking motivated, reliable, and hardworking individuals to join our team as Event Setup Technicians. This hands-on role is essential to creating exceptional event experiences for our clients. Technicians are responsible for delivering and installing event rental equipment including tents, sound equipment, tables, chairs, flooring, and other event infrastructure.

If you enjoy physical work, being part of a team, working outdoors, and seeing an event come to life from the ground up, this is a great opportunity to build a career in the events industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive box trucks to and from event sites safely and professionally
  • Load and unload event rental equipment
  • Install and dismantle tents, flooring, staging, tables, chairs, and sound equipment
  • Follow layout diagrams and event plans with strong attention to detail
  • Ensure all equipment is installed safely and securely
  • Provide excellent customer service while onsite with clients
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and vehicle
  • Follow all safety procedures and company standards

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license (clean driving record preferred)
  • Ability to drive box trucks (experience preferred but not required)
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor for extended periods
