Job description

The CNC Setup Operator plays a crucial role in preparing and operating CNC machines, primarily lathes and milling machines, to meet production demands. This position handles both low volume, high-mix jobs and high volume, repetitive production runs. The operator is responsible for machine setup, tool installation, minor maintenance, and quality inspection while ensuring safety compliance and efficient production. The role requires occasional collaboration with programming and engineering teams and operates across day and night shifts. We are collaborating with a gun manufacturing company in west Hartford to fill 2/3 shift cnc operator/set up operators please apply!

Responsibilities

  • Set up CNC lathes and milling machines for production runs
  • Install and adjust cutting tools and fixtures
  • Perform quality inspections to ensure product specifications
