Job description

Warehouse & Logistics Technician โ€“ Drive Our Physical & Digital Flow

Location: Littleton, CO | Pay Range: $19 โ€“ $25 / hour FT

Build a Versatile Career with an Industry Leader

Since 1983, Setpoint Systems Corporation has been a powerhouse in building automation. As we undergo a period of rapid growth and expansion, we are looking for a motivated, highly reliable individual to join our Supply Chain team.

This isn't a typical "back-of-house" warehouse job. This is a unique, cross-functional role designed for a detail-oriented professional who wants to master both the physical movement of high-tech components and the administrative side of global procurement. If you are looking for a path toward career advancement in logistics, purchasing, or supply chain management, this is your entry point.

The Mission: Dual Impact Responsibilities1. Warehouse Operations & Inventory (The Foundation)
  • Receiving & Quality Control: Accurately receive and inspect incoming high-tech components, verifying them against purchase orders (POs) and packing slips.

  • Kitting & Manufacturing Support: Execute precise material picking and staging for project kits and our Panel Fabrication shop, ensuring our field teams have exactly what they need to succeed.

  • Logistics & Delivery: Package and label outgoing shipments with professional care, coordinate with freight carriers, and handle direct material deliveries to local job sites.

  • Inventory Integrity: Execute cycle counts and investigate discrepancies to maintain our elite 98% inventory accuracy target.

  • Safety First: Safely operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) while maintaining an organized, compliant environment.

2. Procurement & Administrative Support (The Growth Path)
  • PO Orchestration: Under the guidance of our Purchaser, you will track open orders, follow up on delivery dates, and confirm vendor acknowledgments to prevent project delays.

  • Professional Liaison: Act as a bridge between Setpoint and our vendors to resolve shipment issues, missing documentation, or lead-time hurdles.

  • Data Intelligence: Accurately update lead times, vendor info, and purchasing data within our ERP system.

  • Strategic Admin: Support the processing of vendor quotes and invoices, maintaining the digital database that powers our purchasing strategy.

Who You Are: The Proactive Professional

We are looking for a "Right Fit" candidate who brings:

  • Meticulous Accuracy: You understand that a single wrong part number can stop a multi-million dollar project.

  • Accountability: You take personal ownership of inventory levels and vendor follow-ups.

  • Adaptability: You are eager to learn the administrative side of the business and can pivot quickly from the warehouse floor to the computer desk.

  • Grit: You are a hands-on worker who enjoys a fast-paced, physical environment.

Required Qualifications
  • Experience: 1โ€“3 years in a distribution center, warehouse, or logistics environment.

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required.

  • Tech Savvy: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word); experience with an ERP or Inventory Management System is a major plus.

  • Physical Strength: Ability to frequently lift and move material up to 50 pounds.

  • Certification: Forklift operator certification preferred (or willingness to obtain it immediately).

Why Join Setpoint Systems?
  • Direct Mentorship: Receive functional training from our veteran Purchaser and Warehouse Manager.

  • Skill Expansion: Build a dual-threat resume with both physical logistics and administrative procurement experience.

  • Dynamic Culture: Join a fast-paced, growing company that rewards energy, loyalty, and precision.

  • Career Pathing: We invest in individuals who are ready to drive change and grow alongside industry leaders.

Ready to master the flow of materials and information? Apply today and help Setpoint Systems fuel the future of building automation!
