Our Production team is expanding and looking to add a Set-Up Technician. We are looking for a dynamic and driven candidate who is interested in joining a fast-growing global company in the automotive sector.

The Set Up Technician will be reporting to Production Supervisor, the setup technician is responsible for performing diversified duties related to exchanging tools and making process adjustments in all production machinery. Other duties include:

  • Responsible for setting up and tearing down jobs
  • Turns jobs over to the operator only after verifying that the process is producing good parts
  • Works with operators in doing setups and instructs in product evaluation
  • Makes and documents adjustments to the manufacturing process including robots, fixtures, and process parameters
  • Performs and documents basic machine maintenance tasks as directed
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Follow all requirements found in the work instructions


To qualify for this role you must meet the following:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of one year of maintenance experience is preferred
  • Experience and/or formal training in robotic material handling systems
  • Must be able to read & write, have basic math skills, ability to understand and follow written procedures
  • Must have mechanical abilities
  • Must be able to pass the written Industrial Fork Truck Driver Test.
  • Must pass Industrial Fork Truck Driver Road Test
  • Must pass Authorized Lock-out / Tag-out Training
  • Able to work different hours and shifts as needed, steady 2nd shift
