CNC Set-Up Technician Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Set-Up Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programming and operating CNC lathes and mills, as well as a thorough understanding of CAD/CAM.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines according to job specifications
- Create and edit CNC programs as needed
- Perform regular maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the production process
- Train and mentor other team members on best practices for CNC machine operation
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and quality
Requirements:
- Experience with CNC Milling and CNC Turning
- Strong technical skills and mechanical aptitude
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
