What is a set up mechanic?

A Set Up Mechanic is a skilled technician responsible for assembling, installing, adjusting, and maintaining production machinery and equipment, typically in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Their main role is to ensure machines are configured correctly for specific production runs, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance to minimize downtime. Set Up Mechanics often work closely with machine operators and engineers to optimize equipment performance and ensure safety standards are met.
