The Event Operations Attendant is responsible for the setup, maintenance, and breakdown of event spaces to ensure successful execution of meetings, banquets, conferences, and special events. This position plays a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by ensuring rooms are properly arranged, equipment is functional, and event standards are met.

Responsibilities

  • Set up event spaces according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and diagrams.
  • Arrange tables, chairs, staging, dance floors, podiums, linens, and décor.
  • Ensure proper placement of signage and directional materials.
  • Monitor events to respond to layout changes or operational needs.
  • Maintain cleanliness of meeting rooms, hallways, and storage areas.
  • Assist banquet and catering teams as needed during events.
  • Break down event spaces and return equipment to storage.
  • Safely transport equipment using carts and dollies.
  • Report maintenance or safety concerns immediately.
  • Follow all safety, fire code, and company procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous banquet, event, or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret room diagrams and event orders.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
