Summary

The Human Resources Intern provides administrative and project support primarily across various disciplines in Human Resources.  There will be a focus around Talent Acquisition with additional support for Learning & Development and general HR operations, including filing, records management, and HRIS upkeep. This role is technology-forward, with work involving digital tools and content in regard to social media, employer branding, digital communications, and HR systems, complemented by administrative support. The Human Resources Intern will assist with recruiting communications, candidate screenings and interview scheduling, career fair and community outreach coordination, employer branding and social media content creation, badge administration and onboarding logistics supporting Learning & Development, and day-to-day HR administrative tasks. This position offers exposure to multiple HR disciplines while providing meaningful professional development in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Candidates from Business, Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, or Graphic Design backgrounds are all well suited to this role, particularly those comfortable with social media, content creation, and digital tools.

Responsibilities
  • Support Talent Acquisition activities, including candidate communications, interview scheduling, and recruiting event preparation
  • Assist with employer branding initiatives by creating and publishing content for company social media platforms and recruiting campaigns
  • Support planning and participation in career fairs, school partnerships, and community outreach initiatives, including the 8th Grade Experience
  • Assist with the development of recruiting promotional materials, flyers, and digital content using company branding standards
  • Support workforce development and community outreach initiatives that build the company's talent pipeline
  • Support badge issuance and access administration for new hires and employees as part of onboarding and L&D processes
  • Assist with new hire orientation logistics, materials preparation, and training session coordination
  • Support curriculum and training content development, including presentations, training materials, and process documentation
  • Assist with computer lab coordination and support for employee training and compliance activities
  • Support tracking of training completion and engagement data within the LMS
  • Assist with day-to-day administrative activities supporting the Human Resources department
  • Monitor and assist in managing shared Human Resources email inboxes, ensuring timely responses and routing inquiries to the appropriate HR team members
  • Maintain HR records, electronic personnel files, and document management systems while ensuring confidentiality and data accuracy
  • Upload, organize, and maintain employee documentation within HRIS and electronic filing systems
  • Perform employee record audits to verify document completeness and compliance with company requirements
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee, applicant, and company information
  • Maintain regular and reliable on-site attendance
  • Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain; Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container)
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Graphic Design, Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Organizational Leadership, or a related field
  • Junior, Senior, or Graduate-level standing preferred
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 preferred
Experience
  • Previous internship, campus leadership, volunteer, or project experience preferred
  • Experience with social media platforms, content creation, or digital marketing is a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, Adobe Express, or similar content creation software preferred
  • Experience working on group projects, student organizations, or leadership activities preferred
