Job description

The Year-Round Intern for KIDS Preschool Ministry job can be described as assisting the KIDS Preschool Ministry staff with everyday operations of the ministry such as making copies, organizing resources, cleaning up from Sunday, setting up for Sunday, creative design, and organizing events and programs; along with participating in the ministry programs and events.

Expectations

To complete each task given with a servant heart and finish each task in a timely and complete manner.

Will work approximately 15-20 hours/week with a one-week vacation to be taken if desired. Interns can also have up to two Sundays off per semester. Additional vacation or out of the office days can be negotiated.

Work between the hours of 10:00 am and 3:00 pm on Monday – Thursday. One hour of lunch is given on Monday – Thursday. Will attend and set up for activities. Average week will be 20 hours of work that will span Sunday – Thursday. Exceptions will include VBS week and possible filming for various programs in KIDS Preschool ministry.

May have friends assist with jobs only after approval of the Minister to KIDS Preschool. Upon approval, friends may help with creative or everyday tasks; however, the time spent at the church will be limited. Friends will not receive compensation for assistance with tasks. The Minister to KIDS Preschool reserves the right to terminate the friends helping at any time.
