Position: Crane Operator - Fish Creek Water Treatment Plant

Schedule: 5 days on, 2 days off

Jardeg is currently recruiting for Crane Operators to work with Technical Workforce Inc. at the Fish Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant in Calgary, AB!
 
This position is a 5 days on and 2 days off schedule with the possibility of working afternoons, evenings, and weekends. At this time, only local candidates will be considered. 
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Operate and maintain a variety of mobile cranes to lift, move, position or place equipment and materials within manufacturer limits
  • Clean and lubricate cranes
  • Perform pre-operational inspection, and calculate crane capacities and weight to prepare for rigging and hoisting
  • Perform routine maintenance work
  • Set rebar cages into piles to prepare them for concrete
  • Follow all site specific lifting plans/procedures
Minimum Requirements:
 
  • Crane Operator Ticket is required
  • 5 yearsโ€™ related experience in construction setting
  • Experience working in a water infrastructure project is an asset
  • CSTS and/or WHMIS certifications
  • Must be able to operate 35 Ton cranes
  • Reliable transportation to get to work
