Ready to stunt, tumble, and cheer your way into an exciting opportunity?
TGA Premier Sports is hiring part time Multi Sport Instructors with a cheerleading background to teach after school classes for children ages 3 to 12. TGA is the nations leading youth program for golf, tennis, pickleball, cheerleading, flag football, and multi sport classes. We introduce kids to sports through fun, structured, high energy lessons.
This is a very part time, 5 to 6 hours per week role with set afternoon hours for the entire school year August to May. This job is ideal for remote or freelance workers, active retirees, or stay at home parents who want meaningful, consistent work with kids. A 90 day hair follicle drug test is required, and some schools may require additional screenings.
What you will do:
  • Lead fun, structured sports and cheer based classes using TGAs curriculum.
  • Teach Pre K through 6th grade students.
  • Attend virtual or in person training sessions.
  • Create a positive and encouraging environment for young athletes.
Schedule and locations for the school year:
  • Hours: 1 to 2 hours per day, 5 to 6 hours per week.
  • Timeframe: Classes run 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
  • Calendar: August to May following the school year.
  • Locations: Schools across South Gwinnett and North Atlanta, including Sandy Springs, Buckhead, Brookhaven, Johns Creek, Duluth, and Norcross.
Coaches must be available for all listed areas. Classes rotate locations daily.
Optional summer opportunities:
Coaches who complete a full school year session may be offered optional summer camp hours.
  • Options: Half day camps and full day camps.
  • Hours: Camps run 3 to 6 hours per day depending on the camp.
  • Locations: Same regions as the school year program.
Summer is optional but provides additional hours for coaches who want them.
What we are looking for:
  • Enthusiastic individuals who enjoy working with kids.
  • Cheer experience plus willingness to teach multiple sports.
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to lift and transport up to 50 pounds of equipment.
  • Ability to use apps, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Zoom, and video based training.
  • Strong communication skills and responsiveness to the admin team.
Pay and training:
All new hires begin as Assistant Coaches for one full session.
  • Assistant Coach rate: 18 dollars per hour.
  • Plus 30 minutes of extra paid time each class day for setup, cleanup, and carpool.
Successful Assistant Coaches may be promoted to Head Coach with increased pay and responsibilities.
Required drug screening:
All school partners require a 90 day hair follicle drug test. This test detects substances from the previous 90 days to 6 months. This requirement is non negotiable and is required to maintain school partnerships.
Commitment expectations:
TGA relies on coaches who honor their full season commitment. Backing out mid session is not permitted and violates agreements with schools and families. Any potential conflicts must be shared before hiring.
