Position Summary

The Janitorial Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing multiple client locations within an assigned market, ensuring consistent service delivery, operational efficiency, and workforce performance. This role provides leadership to Supervisors and frontline teams while maintaining accountability for staffing, service quality, and client satisfaction.

The Operations Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts and ensuring all assigned locations operate in alignment with company standards and client expectations.

Scope of Responsibility
  • Oversees multiple client locations within a defined geographic market
  • Directly manages Supervisors and indirectly manages frontline employees
  • Responsible for staffing, scheduling oversight, service quality, and operational performance across all assigned locations
  • Regular travel between sites required
  • Accountable for overall performance of assigned book of business
Key ResponsibilitiesOperations Management
  • Oversee daily operations across multiple janitorial service locations
  • Ensure consistent execution of service standards across all sites
  • Conduct site visits, inspections, and operational audits
  • Identify and resolve operational issues across locations
Leadership & Workforce Management
  • Supervise and develop Operations Supervisors
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and training across assigned locations
  • Monitor staffing levels, turnover, and workforce performance
  • Enforce company policies and oversee performance management
Client & Account Management
  • Serve as primary operational contact for assigned client accounts
  • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure satisfaction
  • Address escalated service concerns and ensure resolution
Compliance & Reporting
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and client requirements
  • Monitor operational metrics and performance indicators
  • Provide reporting and updates to senior leadership
Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3–5 years of operations, supervisory, or management experience
  • Experience managing teams in a service-based environment
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Preferred:

  • Janitorial or facilities maintenance industry experience
  • Experience managing multiple locations or accounts
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
