ServiceMaster Building Services is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Night Cleaner to maintain an Orthopedic Surgery Center after hours. This role is critical in helping ensure a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients, physicians, and staff each day.
Location: Gilbert, AZ 85297
Schedule: Start time after 6PM - 21 hours per week
Pay: $17.25+ per hour
Job Duties
Duties include, but are not limited to, cleaning and disinfecting surgical suites, procedure rooms, exam rooms, restrooms, offices, and common areas; sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors; dusting and wiping surfaces; removing trash and waste; restocking supplies; and maintaining the overall cleanliness and sanitation of the orthopedic surgery facility.
All work must be performed according to established healthcare cleaning, infection-control, and safety procedures.
Training
On-site job training will be provided. Previous healthcare cleaning experience is preferred but not required. Employees will be trained on facility-specific cleaning procedures, products, equipment, and safety requirements.
Responsibilities
  • Perform thorough cleaning and disinfection of surgical suites, procedure rooms, exam rooms, and common areas
  • Follow healthcare cleaning and infection-control protocols
  • Clean and disinfect restrooms, floors, high-touch surfaces, and other designated areas
  • Properly handle and dispose of regular and healthcare-related waste according to facility procedures
  • Clean and maintain floors using appropriate equipment and cleaning methods
  • Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, toilet paper, trash liners, and other janitorial supplies
  • Maintain a clean and organized supply area
  • Follow all required safety procedures when using cleaning chemicals and equipment
  • Report maintenance issues, spills, damaged equipment, or other concerns to the appropriate supervisor
  • Work efficiently and thoroughly to ensure the facility is clean and ready for operations the following day

Qualifications
  • Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred
  • Medical or healthcare cleaning experience is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and stay on task with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
  • Comfortable working in a clinical and surgical environment
  • Reliable, punctual, and consistent attendance
