The role as a Service Sales Manager is responsible not only for managing people, but also for shaping strategy, driving market growth, and expanding the lifecycle service business. It aligns well with organizations focused on growing aftermarket and service sales alongside equipment sales.

This is a position located in Greenwood, IN or Warrington PA.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading change initiatives and driving continuous improvement.
  • Translate corporate strategy into actionable regional or market initiatives.
  • Establish sales forecasts, budgets, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Identify growth opportunities through market segmentation and lifecycle service strategies.
  • Monitor business performance and implement corrective actions when required.
  • Perform competitive analysis, including competitor offerings, pricing strategies, service capabilities, and market positioning.
  • Identify new service offerings based on market intelligence and customer feedback.
  • Provide regular competitive insights and strategic recommendations to management.
  • Support key account development and participate in strategic customer visits.
  • Lead opportunity pipeline management and forecasting.
  • Negotiate complex commercial agreements and service contracts.
  • Analyze sales performance, profitability, and business trends.
  • Build long-term strategic relationships with customers.
  • Understand customer operational challenges and develop value-based solutions.
  • Drive customer satisfaction, retention, and loyalty.
  • Support resolution of escalated customer issues.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Service, and Product Management to ensure successful project execution.

What you know:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Min 2 years of experience in industrial B2B sales, service sales, or aftermarket business.
  • Minimum of 1 year in a leadership role.
  • Experience in developing business plans and commercial growth strategies.
  • Experience with CRM systems, sales forecasting, and data analytics.
  • Knowledge of industrial markets such as food & beverage, chemical, pharmaceutical, energy, or water treatment is preferred.
