Precision Well Servicing is currently hiring a Rental Technician / Truck Driver to join our team at either our Cold Lake, Nisku or Lloydminster facilities. The ideal candidate will hold a valid Class 1 License.

Precision Well Servicing is the largest service rig provider in Canada, with an impressive fleet of equipment, service rig professionals and strong relationships with top-tier companies.

This position will split time between rental technician duties and truck driving.

Responsibilities

  • Receive Rental equipment back to the shop and assess for missing or damaged parts
  • Receive and respond to orders from customers
  • Fill out contract, quotation and shipping forms
  • Operate and drive various Class 1, Class 3 and light duty vehicles safely and efficiently, while conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspection of vehicles.
  • Secure loads and ensure they are loaded within weight limits for specified vehicle configuration.
  • Maintain equipment, ensure it is clean and in safe operating condition.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation and complete necessary paperwork and logbooks accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Safely transport equipment from station to station.
  • Comply with Precisions policies and procedures and compliance with transport laws.
  • Report all incidents in a timely manner.
  • Partake in all shop and yard requirements including but not limited to, assisting with mechanical needs, working on equipment, organising and cleaning
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Positive attitude and commitment to our safety culture.
  • Valid Class 1 Driver's License Is Preferred
  • Provide a 5-year Commercial Drivers Abstract.
  • Proficient in regulatory DOT and NSC requirements with a strong understanding of balanced loads and weight restrictions.
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol testing as well pass a 50lb physical demands test.
  • Self starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull and carry in accordance with company polices and applicable safety legislation. There can be repetitive motions for long periods of time such as standing and kneeling.
