Family Care Connections is looking for amazing people who want to have a positive influence on the lives of others. We specialize in one-on-one care for kids and adults with special needs. Care is provided in the clients home or out in the community. This care provider position earns are competitive wages of $16.50- 19.50 per hour, depending on experience and length of service. We provide excellent benefits, including medical, dental, vision, a discounted gym membership, and bi-weekly pay.
Services provided.
RESPITE CARE: Respite care includes social interaction with the member through community activities, such as going to the mall, a park, a movie, bowling, or other sporting events. It can also include attending to the member's personal needs, e.g., preparing meals, feeding, hygiene care, toileting, etc. It may also include transporting the member to doctor appointments or routine visits.
HABILITATION: Habilitation services provide a learning opportunity designed to help the member develop skills and independence. Through the goals and strategies created by the member and their mentor, the member can learn the skills needed to increase or maintain independence.
ATTENDANT CARE: This service helps a member remain in their home by maintaining personal safety and sanitary conditions. It can include, but is not limited to: meal prep, assistance with eating, bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, laundry, and shopping.
