Job description

We are seeking a Medical Device Assembler to support the build and integration of capital medical devices for an upcoming project phase, including validation builds. This role supports a small manufacturing team and focuses on mechanical and electromechanical assembly, sub-assembly, top level chassis integration, and in-process testing.

Core Responsibilities

● 3 Years of Medical Device

● Assembly: Build mechanical and electromechanical sub-assemblies and top level chassis following SOPs and work instructions.

● Integration: Integrate sub-assemblies into larger capital systems and system towers; includes plugging in USB, regular power, HDMI, and Ethernet cables.

● Testing: Perform in-process testing and basic functional checks.

● Tool Usage: Utilize hand tools such as torque wrenches, screwdrivers, crimping, pliers, and related equipment. No cable building is required

● Compliance: Strictly follow cGMP and quality-driven procedures; knowledge of ESD is a plus.

● Communication: Identify and communicate build issues or assembly challenges to supervisor & engineering team.

● Documentation: Read and interpret assembly drawings; use computers for basic programming, menu navigation, and documentation.

● Process Improvement: Support continuous improvement by providing feedback on assembly processes.

● Physical Requirements: Safely lift and handle components weighing up to approximately 50 pounds.

Work Environment

● Layout: A combination of seated and standing work across the production floor and bench assembly.

● Attire: No cleanroom suits required.

● Quality Support: Focus is on in-process testing only; a separate Quality team handles final QC.

Qualifications Requirements

● Experience: Minimum of 3 years of medical device experience.
