Job description

With 45 years of experience connecting individuals with opportunities, we are passionate about supporting our employees, clients, and communities. The Service Manager leads all branch service operations, ensuring strong performance, high-quality customer service, and achievement of financial goals. This role focuses on understanding client needs, delivering cost-effective staffing solutions, and building strong, lasting relationships. The Service Manager train and develop team members to maximize performance and ensure the team operates efficiently. Starting salary is between $60K-$65K with a bonus potential and will be based out of Mankato, MN.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and manage daily branch service operations to meet or exceed financial and performance goals.
  • Supervise, hire, train, and develop a team of 2–10 employees; conduct performance reviews and set goals.
  • Foster a results-driven, team-oriented culture focused on customer satisfaction and service excellence.
  • Partner with Business Development to support new client acquisition and implement service plans.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships; conduct regular visits and identify growth opportunities.
  • Monitor team performance using reports, metrics, and tracking tools; ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, employment laws, and safety standards.
  • Manage risk areas including employee relations, workers’ compensation, unemployment claims, and workplace safety.
  • Oversee operational efficiency, including use of systems, technology, and office resources.
  • Participate in training, community engagement, and ongoing market and industry awareness.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; prior supervisory or management experience required.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service abilities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office platforms.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and staffing practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze data, track performance metrics, and manage operational processes.
  • Positive, adaptable, and proactive mindset with ability to work independently.
  • Valid driver’s license required; up to 60% travel within branch territory.
