Boatyard Manager – Lead Marine Operations and Vessel Service Teams

Job Overview:

The Opportunity: You will serve as a critical operational leader, overseeing the daily flow and execution of a busy Panama City boatyard. This role empowers you to drive efficiency across vessel movements and technical repairs while maintaining the highest safety standards.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Direct daily boatyard operations and vessel staging to maximize workflow efficiency.

  • Supervise and coordinate yard crews and technicians to ensure high-quality service delivery.

  • Schedule complex repair projects and maintenance tasks to meet strict customer timelines.

  • Monitor safety protocols and enforce strict compliance with marine industry regulations.

  • Coordinate communication between customers, vendors, and internal teams to streamline projects.

  • Identify and implement operational improvements to enhance yard organization and productivity.

  • Track the progress of ongoing jobs and adjust schedules in real-time to prevent delays.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience within the boatyard or marine services industry.

  • Proven ability to manage yard operations, scheduling, and multi-disciplinary teams.

  • Strong communication skills necessary for managing team dynamics and vendor relations.

  • Advanced knowledge of vessel handling, marine repair, and maintenance procedures.
