Seeking a dynamic, client-focused Business Development Manager to join their team and drive growth in their Meetings & Incentives and Business Travel divisions. Experience

Were in search of a savvy, proactive Business Development Manager to help us expand our Corporate Division. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, a deep understanding of the travel industry, and an ability to build lasting relationships with both clients and partners. Creativity, problem-solving, and a team-first mentality are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & Proposal Development: Lead client calls, create and deliver polished proposals and presentations, and respond to RFPs. Manage the sales process for new corporate opportunities from start to finish.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build strong, lasting relationships with clients by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions. Keep clients engaged and satisfied even after the initial sale.
  • Strategic Account Management: Work with internal teams and external partners to deliver custom solutions for meetings, events, incentives, and business travel needs.
  • New Business Development: Identify and secure new business opportunities through proactive outreach and networking.
  • Collaboration with Operations & Marketing: Partner with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of client programs and leverage marketing to solicit new business opportunities.
  • Sales Targets & Reporting: Meet quarterly and annual sales goals. Utilize Salesforce to track leads, manage pipeline, and report on sales activities.
  • Industry Knowledge & Representation: Stay up to date with industry trends and attend industry events (GBTA, IMEX, MPI, etc.) to build relationships and expand knowledge.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development and sales, particularly in meetings, events, and business travel.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage clients at all levels.
  • Creative problem-solver with the ability to adapt solutions to meet client needs.
  • Experience using Salesforce or other CRM tools to manage leads and sales activities.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • A passion for travel and the transformative power of face-to-face experiences.
  • Experience with the full sales cycle: from prospecting and RFP development to closing deals and ensuring client satisfaction.
