Experienced Plumbing Service Technician (Licensed – WV Required)

Mullen Plumbing is seeking an Experienced Plumbing Service Technician to safely diagnose, install, and repair plumbing systems in residential and light commercial settings while helping customers make informed, confident decisions.

Required Qualifications

MUST be a Licensed Plumber in the State of West Virginia

Valid Plumbing License (WV) required at time of hire

3–5 years of plumbing experience required

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Primary Responsibilities

  • Install pipes, drainage systems, sinks, toilets, and perform complete drain cleaning and other in-home plumbing services
  • Diagnose and resolve a wide range of plumbing issues, including emergencies, efficiently and professionally
  • Test systems for leaks and accurately diagnose plumbing problems
  • Perform clean, thorough inspections and provide clear recommendations to homeowners
  • Maintain cleanliness standards, including use of shoe covers and protective equipment
  • Meet or exceed service and revenue goals
  • Collaborate with Dispatch and Call Center teams to ensure operational success
  • Maintain a clean, organized job site and properly stocked service vehicle
  • Debrief with Dispatcher after each job and ensure accurate invoicing, documentation, and ServiceTitan uploads
  • Participate in ongoing training, meetings, and professional development opportunities
  • Train and mentor apprentices as needed
  • Complete all invoices, timecards, and documentation accurately and on time
  • Educate customers on repair options, financing, and maintenance plans to support informed decision-making

Other Duties & Expectations

  • Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle (interior and exterior)
  • Ensure appropriate fuel levels prior to the start of each shift
  • Keep vehicle inventory stocked with materials, forms, and tools needed for scheduled jobs
  • Properly complete and submit all paperwork, including receipts and packing slips
  • Participate in an on-call rotation as needed
  • Maintain a professional appearance in company-issued uniform
  • Operate company vehicles safely and courteously
  • Build strong customer relationships and recommend appropriate products and services
