Job Activities: 1 Check in with the manager or lead server at the beginning of the shift to receive task assignments, review the server station, and clean and check all assigned tables. 2 Perform an initial walkthrough of the restaurant at opening to ensure everything is in order; report any damage or irregularities. 3 Ask the guest if they have already used the self-service system or if they prefer table service. If the guest prefers self-service, kindly guide them through the ordering process. 4 Fill the ice bin before service and check periodically to ensure it stays full throughout the shift. 5 Fill the chip warmer before the shift begins. 6 Fill and maintain the pico de gallo dispenser to ensure it is always stocked during the shift. 7 Keep the server station clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times. 8 Greet guests at the entrance and offer them a table if needed. 9 Explain the menu and answer any questions about ingredients or preparations. 10 Suggest daily specials or highlighted menu item 11 Take orders directly if the guest prefers or needs assistance. 12 Accurately enter all orders into the POS system. 13 Serve beverages, appetizers, entrees, and desserts in proper order. 14 Ensure each dish is complete and well-presented before serving. 15 Follow up during the meal to ensure guest satisfaction. 16 Present the check and process payments accurately. 17 Clear plates and utensils as soon as the guest is finished using them to keep the table clean. 18 Frequently check restrooms to ensure cleanliness, toilet paper availability, clean trash bins, and pleasant scent. 19 Prepare wrapped silverware (roll-ups) for the next shift and place them in the designated area at the end of your shift. 20 Answer phone calls, assist at the front, and take orders when time and availability allow. 21 Attempt to resolve any issues promptly; if not possible, escalate the matter to the on-duty manager to ensure guest satisfaction. 22 Collect used napkin bags from the kitchen and server station, dispose of them, and replace with clean bags for the next day. 23 Fully clean the coffee station and server station: wash coffee pots, sweep, and mop both areas. 24 Clean and reset all tables with utensils and plates; refill napkin dispensers and set up station containers (#1 and #4) for the next day. 25 Report any irregularities or damages to the manager so they can document them properly. 26 Turn off the lights and help close the restaurant, ensuring everything is properly secured. 27 Actively collaborate with all team members throughout the shift. 28 Perform any additional tasks assigned by the shift leader or manager that contribute to the smooth operation of the restaurant. 29 Follow the opening and closing checklists established for this role.
