Job description

Position Summary:

At Triple Shift Entertainment we’re proud to embrace the core values of Spirit, Courage, Respect, Own It, and Excellence. As a Server follow these core values while chasing that “perfect game” and you will assure that the fun never stops while working in the front of house area.

Servers will provide amazing guest service while taking orders, answering any menu or food-related questions while also working to sell the venue’s food and drinks. Will take payments, communicate orders including special food requests to the kitchen staff and help with any customer service and cleaning.

Responsibilities:

  • Take orders from patrons for food or beverages.
  • Check with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems
  • Courage to check guests’ identification to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages.
  • Collect payments from customers.
  • Write patrons' food orders on order slips, memorize orders, or enter orders into computers for transmittal to kitchen staff.
  • Respect while presenting menus to patrons and answer questions about menu items, making recommendations upon request.
  • Remove dishes and glasses from tables or counters and take them to kitchen for cleaning.
  • Serve food or beverages to guests.
  • Own it by cleaning tables or counters after guests have finished dining.
  • Explain how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods.
  • Excellence when performing cleaning duties, such as sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming carpet, tidying up server station, taking out trash, or checking and cleaning bathroom.
  • Inform customers of daily specials.
  • Roll silverware, set up food stations, or set up dining areas to prepare for the next shift or for large parties.
  • Stock service areas with supplies such as coffee, food, tableware, and linens.
  • Fill salt, pepper, sugar, cream, condiment, and napkin containers.
  • Provide guests with information about local areas, including directions.
  • Own it by garnishing and decorating dishes in preparation for serving.
  • Courage to embrace other duties as assigned.
