Job description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Follows all company policies as outlined in the employee handbook and the "General Policies and Procedures" section of the Server Training Manual.
• Maintains a positive attendance record by reporting to work for assigned shifts 10 minutes prior to scheduled time
• Follows all sanitation and safety standards set forth by the company sanitation and safety audits.
• Meets all uniform, appearance, and grooming standards as specified in the employee handbook and Server Training Manual.
• Maintains our guest service philosophy by following guest service standards
• Knows all menu items offered at the restaurant. Accurately explains specials to guest. If asked, accurately answers menu items in regard to preparation method, ingredients, portion size, and side items accompanying the dish. If asked, specifies substitutions for items on menu.
• Observes table numbering procedures and works assigned section 100% of the time.
• Conducts a first greet with guests within 2 minutes after they are seated. Takes orders if time permits, or informs guests that he or she will return to assist them.
• Performs menu merchandising procedures accurately by listing and explaining the specials, suggesting items, and upselling when appropriate.
• Takes beverage and food orders accurately for all tables. Has less than 2% return of food to kitchen due to order mistakes.
• Legibly completes guest checks and accurately enters orders into POS system following company procedures with 100% accuracy.
• Picks up orders and completes plate preparation correctly as specified by company plating procedures.
• Serves complete meals to all guests at each table in the assigned section as specified in the "Delivering the Order" section of the Server Training Manual.
• Performs check-back procedures with tables within 2 minutes of receiving appetizers, main course, and dessert course.
• Totals and presents checks and carries out payment procedures with 100% accuracy, as specified in the "Presenting the Check" section of the Server Training Manual.
• Performs side work duties correctly as specified in the "Side Work Duties" section of the Server Training Manual.
• Follows all end-of-shift checkout procedures with 100% accuracy as specified in the "End of Shift/Checkout Procedures" section of the Server Training Manual and outlined by the company.
• Follows the alcohol serving procedures in regard to beverage service standards, awareness standards, and
government regulations with 100% accuracy.
• Busses, sets, and resets tables following company procedures within 3 minutes of guests leaving their tables.
• Maintains a good team environment by assisting other team members with their station duties and side work when there is a need and/or when available
• Follows tip reporting regulations 100% of the time by keeping track of daily tips and following reporting procedures outlined by the Internal Revenue Service.
JOB PREREQUISITES:
• Must be able read and communicate in English clearly and effectively
• Must demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment to guest's satisfaction
• Must be efficient and accurate with money and figures

EXPERIENCE: At least 2 years' experience in fine dining
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS: Be able to obtain/maintain Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma gaming license.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds repeatedly throughout shift. Must possess manual ability to manipulate register systems and handle/serve food. Must be able to stand on feet up to 8 hours a day, must be able to walk and move nonstop, be able to twist, bend, squat, bend.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: We maintain an alcohol/drug-free workplace. Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform in casino operations containing smoke and second-hand smoke with high noise level and bright lights. Must be able and willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed. Ability to work in fast paced environment and problem-solving ability. Must be able to work independently
Job Summary:
Serve guests in a courteous, helpful, and prompt manner. Responsible for coordinating serving station and communicating with the front and back-of-the- house personnel to provide a dining experience that exceeds our guests' expectations. Process guest orders to ensure that all items are prepared accurately and on a timely basis. Determine when meals have been completed, and total bills and accept payment.
