The Restaurant Server Assistant plays a crucial role in maintaining a seamless dining experience by supporting the waitstaff and ensuring cleanliness and organization within the dining area. This position requires a proactive approach to service, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Table Management:

  • Clear tables of used dishes, utensils, and glassware promptly after guests leave.

  • Reset tables with clean linens, silverware, and glassware for incoming guests.

  • Ensure that all dining areas are clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary items like napkins, condiments, and utensils.

Food Service Support:

  • Assist servers in delivering food and beverages to guests efficiently.

  • Refill water glasses and other beverages as needed throughout the meal.

  • Help with food running during busy periods to ensure timely service.

Guest Interaction:

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and thank them as they leave.

  • Provide assistance with menu inquiries and relay any special requests or issues to the serving staff.

  • Maintain a friendly demeanor to enhance the overall guest experience.

Cleaning Duties:
