Position Summary:

The Busser plays an essential role in maintaining cleanliness and order in the dining area, supporting servers and other front-of-house staff to ensure a smooth and efficient guest experience. The Busser is responsible for clearing tables, setting up dining areas, refilling drinks, and assisting with guest requests, all while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Table Maintenance and Cleanliness:
  • Clear dirty dishes, glassware, and utensils from tables promptly and efficiently.
  • Clean, sanitize, and reset tables for new guests, including placing clean utensils, glassware, napkins, and condiments.
  • Sweep and mop floors as necessary to ensure the dining area remains clean throughout the shift.
  • Remove trash and dirty linens from the dining area and dispose of them properly.
  • Supporting Servers:
  • Assist servers by delivering food and beverages to guests' tables in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Refill water, beverages, and condiments as needed during service.
  • Assist with food running, ensuring orders are served promptly and accurately.
  • Provide assistance with clearing and resetting tables between guests during busy periods.
  • Guest Assistance:
  • Greet guests and ensure they feel welcomed while assisting with seating if needed.
  • Respond to guest requests and inform servers or management of any specific needs.
  • Ensure guests’ dining area is well-maintained and comfortable throughout their meal.
  • Kitchen and Dishwashing Support:

  • Help with keeping the back-of-house areas clean, including dishwashing areas, kitchen floors, and storage spaces.

  • Replenish and organize serving stations and storage areas.
  • Assist with inventory counts and inform management when supplies are running low.
  • Health and Safety Compliance:
