A 'Server Monkey' is a slang term used in the IT industry to describe someone who manages, maintains, or repairs computer servers. This role typically involves tasks such as installing server hardware, replacing components, monitoring server performance, and troubleshooting issues. While not an official job title, the term is sometimes used informally to refer to entry-level data center technicians or system administrators. People in this role play a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation and uptime of an organization’s IT infrastructure.
