As a Server at your Dalton IHOP, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking orders, and ensuring that our guests have everything they need to enjoy their meal. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Present menus, explain specials, and answer any questions about food and beverages.
  • Take accurate orders from guests using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Ensure timely and efficient service of food and drinks to tables.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to fulfill orders and create a seamless dining experience.
  • Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and drink stations.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance service skills and product knowledge.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A SERVER

  • Previous experience as a server in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to represent our company in a professional manner
