Job Title: Bar/Beverage Supervisor 

Department: Food and Beverage 

Supervisor: Food & Beverage Manager/Director/Restaurant Manager 

Summary 

As a Bar Supervisor, you will oversee daily bar operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences and smooth service delivery. You'll oversee, guide, and train a team of bartenders and bar staff, maintain inventory, support Food & Beverage (F&B) management initiatives, and uphold brand and company values through consistent service excellence. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

Support bar staff during shifts by providing guidance and hands-on assistance 

Help monitor inventory levels and assist with stock rotation and ordering 

Respond to guest inquiries and help resolve concerns in a professional manner 

Assist with training and providing informal coaching to new team members 

Communicate regularly with F&B management to ensure alignment with service goals 

Help maintain compliance with state and local health, safety, and licensing regulations 

Contribute to tracking sales and identifying opportunities for cost efficiency 

Promote brand and company values through positive team interactions and guest service 

Supervisory Responsibilities  

Oversee, guide, and train all bar employees including bartenders, barbacks, and beverage servers and report any achievements and/or deficiencies to the Food and Beverage Manager or Director. No discipline or direct management responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience  

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred; or two years related experience and/or training in a hotel or food service environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations 

Current Food Handler's certificate or ServSafe certification is required. Current TABC (TX) or RVSP (LA) is required.
