Position: Support Staff (Bussers, Food Runners, Barbacks)

We are an upscale–casual restaurant focused on exceptional hospitality, high-quality food and beverage, and a welcoming, polished dining experience. We are seeking reliable, team-oriented Support Staff—including Bussers, Food Runners, and Barbacks—to help ensure smooth service and an outstanding guest experience.

Job Summary

Support Staff members play a crucial role in the flow of service by assisting servers, bartenders, and the management team. Bussers, Food Runners, and Barbacks maintain restaurant cleanliness, support food and beverage delivery, and help keep service areas stocked and organized. These roles are ideal for individuals who are hardworking, proactive, and passionate about hospitality.

Duties & Responsibilities

Bussers

  • Maintain clean, organized dining areas throughout service
  • Reset tables quickly and neatly to ensure smooth guest transitions
  • Assist servers with water, bread, and other guest needs
  • Support overall FOH cleanliness, including sweeping and polishing items as needed
  • Communicate with servers and hosts to ensure proper table flow

Food Runners

  • Deliver food promptly and accurately to the correct tables
  • Describe dishes to guests and ensure special requests are met
  • Act as a liaison between kitchen and servers to maintain timing and accuracy
  • Assist with expo line organization, plate presentation, and food quality checks
  • Help maintain cleanliness around the pass and service stations

Barbacks

  • Stock liquor, beer, wine, garnishes, ice, and glassware throughout service
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area; support bartenders with prep tasks
  • Assist in cleaning bar equipment, polishing glassware, and restocking inventory
  • Follow responsible alcohol and safety procedures
  • Support bartenders to ensure efficient, high-quality beverage service
