ABOUT THE COMPANY
Groovy GOAT will be a centerpiece for the Greatest of All Time in food, drinks, sports and games. The Groovy GOAT will satisfy anyone's cravings with a large variety of custom/made from scratch menu items, ranging from sauces and marinades made in house, to wood grilled wings, hand cut steaks, and fresh seafood. We will be home to the greatest sporting events and will be a place for the entire family to enjoy with more than 40 of the top arcade games to choose from.
Summary of Position
Groovy GOAT is looking for competent Restaurant Servers to take orders and deliver them to our guests, maintaining and enhancing the quality of our customer service. A Groovy GOAT server will work in close collaboration with colleagues and follow established health and safety standards. The goal is to accelerate Groovy GOAT development by providing customers with a memorable experience.
Responsibilities
- Servers must attend tables with special attention to sanitation and order
- Attend to customers upon entrance
- Present menus and help customers select food/beverages
- Take/serve orders and answer questions or make recommendations for other products
- Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
- Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
- Issue bills and accept payment
- Promote dedication from customers
REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs
- Stand for long periods of time
- Basic computer knowledge
- Food Handling experience
- Basic math skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work with a team
- Must be willing to work nights, weekends and holidays
- Willing to work in a smoke, tobacco and drug free work place.
