Ludico is an exciting new restaurant concept from Tribeca Hospitality Group, bringing together fresh, vibrant, and transportive European flavors in an elevated yet approachable dining experience.

We are seeking energetic, hospitality-driven Bussers / Server Assistants to join our opening team. This role is essential to delivering an exceptional guest experience by supporting our servers, maintaining an immaculate dining room, and ensuring seamless service throughout every shift.

The ideal candidate is hardworking, detail-oriented, and takes pride in creating a clean, organized, and welcoming environment. This individual thrives in a fast-paced fine dining setting, works well under pressure, and enjoys being part of a collaborative team.

Position Summary

The Busser / Server Assistant plays a vital role in the overall guest experience by assisting the service team, maintaining dining room cleanliness, resetting tables efficiently, and anticipating the needs of both guests and team members. This position requires a strong sense of urgency, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to hospitality.

Responsibilities

Guest Service & Dining Room Support

  • Assist servers in providing exceptional guest service throughout each shift.
  • Promptly clear and reset tables according to Ludico's service standards.
  • Refill and replenish water service throughout the dining experience.
  • Assist with delivering bread, beverages, and other support items as directed by the service team.
  • Anticipate guest and team needs while maintaining a strong sense of urgency.
  • Support food runners and servers to ensure efficient and seamless service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the dining room, service stations, and guest areas.

Operational Support

  • Prepare dining rooms and service stations before each service.
  • Polish glassware, silverware, and service equipment as assigned.
  • Stock side stations with all necessary supplies throughout the shift.
  • Remove dishes, glassware, and service items efficiently while maintaining a clean dining room.
  • Complete opening, closing, and side work assignments.
  • Assist with private dining events and special functions as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Teamwork & Hospitality

  • Work collaboratively with Servers, Food Runners, Hosts, Bartenders, and Managers.
  • Communicate effectively with both front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times.
  • Contribute to a culture of teamwork, respect, and hospitality.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

  • Previous experience in a fine dining, upscale restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment preferred.
