Part-Time | Hourly + Tips

Position Summary

Round Barn Public House is seeking friendly, energetic, and hospitality-focused Servers to join our fast-paced restaurant team.

Servers are responsible for providing attentive, knowledgeable, and efficient service while creating a welcoming experience for every guest. The ideal candidate is organized, personable, and comfortable working in a high-volume environment while maintaining strong knowledge of our food, wine, craft beer, spirits, and cocktail offerings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, attentive service.
  • Explain menu items and make thoughtful food and beverage recommendations.
  • Take and accurately enter food and beverage orders.
  • Serve beer, wine, spirits, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Maintain knowledge of current menu items, specials, and beverage offerings.
  • Monitor assigned tables and anticipate guest needs throughout service.
  • Accurately process payments through the POS system.
  • Verify identification and follow all responsible alcohol service requirements.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked service areas.
  • Assist with table clearing, resetting, and general dining room cleanliness.
  • Communicate effectively with Bartenders, Food Runners, Kitchen Staff, and management.
  • Complete opening, closing, and assigned side-work responsibilities.
  • Support the team during high-volume service and special events.
Qualifications
  • Previous serving, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Strong guest service and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, cocktails, and food pairings is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
