JOB DESCRIPTION: BUSSER/SERVER ASSISTANT
Summary:
A Busser/Server Assistant is attentive to guests needs at all times and works closely with the restaurant team to ensure that tables are clean, set and ready, helping to create a positive and memorable guest experience.
Duties and Responsibility:
  • Ensures the dining room looks neat and presentable.
  • Arrange tables for large parties and prepares for large parties.
  • Observes seated guests and alerts servers if guests need refills or other assistance.
  • Checks restrooms at least every hour to be sure they are clean and stocked.
  • Maintains building exterior by cleaning sidewalks, landscaping and parking lots as requested.
  • Maintains a safe work area by cleaning up dining room and service aisle spills
  • Complete opening and/or closing duties as assigned
  • Assist with servers and other team members as requested
  • Perform all other duties or special projects as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Must be able to follow directions, work in a fast-paced, high pressure customer responsive environment.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment and communicate with co-workers and guests.
  • Professional conduct at all times
  • Must be able to stand and walk for duration of shift
  • Minimum lifting, pushing and pulling of 40 pounds, occasionally up to 60 pounds
