What is a server and host?

Server and Host jobs are positions in the hospitality industry, typically in restaurants, cafes, or event venues. Servers are responsible for taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring guests have a pleasant dining experience. Both roles require strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in fast-paced environments.

Regular check-ins and clear hand-offs between hosts and servers help prevent bottlenecks and ensure guests receive prompt, attentive service. Building a good rapport with coworkers is key to navigating the fast-paced environment successfully.
