Specific Requirements - Skills
• Knowledge of SAP Materials Management with integration to other areas like MRP, inventory and warehouse management, supplier quality, and finance.
• Good understanding of Subcontracting process.
• Knowledge of SAP serialization
• Knowledge of SAP MRP,
• Knowledge of Goods Movements within SAP
• Understanding of MTS, MTO strategies, Batch Management.
• Understanding of Vendor Master data, Purchasing Groups and Purchasing Organizations.
• Expertise in Info record, Source List, Automatic Purchase Orders, Contracts, Stock Transport Orders.
• Knowledge of Invoicing Process. Handling GR/IR discrepancies
• Experience of working with complex organization structure.
Responsibilities
• Implement new business process and enhance existing process in purchasing area.
• Responding to SAP based questions.
• Providing desktop procedures/ work instructions for either SAP processes or organizational needs.
• Standardizes business processes.
• Trains suppliers and business users
• Collaborating with power users in other departments when integrated process questions occur.
• Role administration support
• Testing required to ensure the changes are completed correctly.
• Escalating issues that cannot be solved locally to the IT and provide any necessary data or examples, or in case of a large change, functional descriptions of changes and potential business case to support change.
• Resolve business process and SAP related issues.
• Lead and participate in business process-oriented projects for supply management and inventory process.
• Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate, and document customer requirements.
• Document functional designs, test cases and results.
• Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements.
• Responsible to understand business requirements and then transform them into a 'Business Process' in SAP.
• Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team.
• Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required.
• Responsible for providing tactical support.
• Identify gaps, issues, and work around solutions.
