Job description

As a Senior Site Manager at Arvato, you will serve as the senior onsite leader for our new site in Sparks, NV. You will be responsible for standing up and running a new operation. We are looking for a hands-on operations leader who runs a best-in-class warehouse; a client-first manager who earns trust at every level of the client organization; an independent problem-solver who acts without waiting to be told; and someone who is never satisfied with the status quo and continuously pushes for better outcomes for the client and for Arvato. Relocation assistance will be provided for non-local candidates selected for the position.
YOUR TASKS
  • Own the full-cycle OFCI operation - inbound receiving, storage, and outbound delivery of high-value data center equipment. Maintain rigorous serialization and chain-of-custody workflows. Coordinate and oversee rigging, craning, and transportation contractors.
  • Own the client relationship and the P&L. Serve as the primary point of contact at all levels. Monitor financial performance, manage costs, and ensure margin targets are met.
  • Lead, develop, and retain a high-performing onsite team. Own hiring, performance management, and coaching. Build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Drive performance against SLAs. Own operational reporting, scheduling, and business reviews. Keep the client and internal leadership informed - no surprises.
  • Uphold safety, compliance, and 5S standards. Drive process improvement, solve problems at the source, and maintain alignment across operations, finance, and transport.

YOUR PROFILE
  • B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum seven years of Operational or Account Management experience, with at least two years in a senior or lead role.
  • Proven leadership capabilities with the ability to interact easily with individuals at all levels and functions, both within and outside the organization.
  • Must be able to work in a demanding, problem-solving-oriented environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must be assertive, analytical, and able to establish priorities.

Preferred Qualifications / Skills:
  • Experience in data center logistics, OFCI inbound operations, or high-value electronics receiving is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with serialization, chain-of-custody documentation, and asset management for high-value equipment is a meaningful differentiator.
  • Customer Service Management/Account Management experience working in a Supply Chain environment.
  • Must possess ability to function in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment.
  • Advanced Excel skill.
  • Good working knowledge of SAP preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills.
